"101 Basic Guitar Chords" presents some of the most essential guitar chords in all 12 keys. 10 chords included in a key are often seen and used in many of the popular musical styles such as rock, pop, folk, country, blues, etc. Each chord form has been carefully selected among many other alternatives. For example, chords that require a full barre (barring across the fingerboard from the 1st to 6th strings) or those in high positions have been deliberately avoided. Similarly, those with difficult fingerings were excluded. Instead, you will find simpler yet equally effective and useful guitar chords throughout this booklet!

Each fingering is shown as a reference only. Experiment with several different fingerings and you may discover some other ways you are more comfortable with.
